25 April, Johannesburg: The Chemicals Industry Education & Training Authority, in partnership with AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy, supported by Moses Kotane Institute, City of uMhlathuze, SMG / BMW Umhlanga, cordially invites executives, managers, local leaders, and members of the media to attend an exclusive event aimed at empowering leaders in the field of robotics and AI.
The CHIETA Robotics & AI Symposium is a unique opportunity for executives, managers, and local leaders to explore the latest trends in robotics and AI and to discover the economic opportunities that exist in this field. This event is designed to create an ecosystem of support that will enable learners in the Umhlathuze region to thrive in the STEM field and achieve their full potential.
The symposium, organized by the Chemical Industries Education and Training Authority (CHIETA) and AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy, will showcase the latest advancements in robotics and AI, and explore the opportunities and applications of these technologies in industry and society. This is a rare opportunity for attendees to interact with experts in the field, participate in workshops, and see live robotics demonstrations.
The event will feature a keynote address by the Mayor of uMhlathuze, and special addresses given by the CEOs of CHIETA and the Moses Kotane Institute, Mr Yershen Pillay & Dr Thandeka Ellenson. In addition, there will be a panel discussion on "Robots And The Future," featuring uMhlathuze COO, Mrs Thembeka Khumalo-Sikhakhane, Prof MA Adigun and Dr Ngema where they will share their insights and expertise on Robotics & AI and its impact in the region.
By promoting STEM education and raising awareness about the opportunities and applications of robotics and AI, we can equip our workforce with the skills they need to succeed in the 21st century and support the growth of the robotics industry in South Africa.
