Learners from Mkhondi Primary School were introduced to Software and Electronics Engineering
3 groups of learners from Grades 5,6 and 7 at Mkhandi Primary School in Harding were treated to a festival of Software and Electronics Engineering facilitated by AlgoAtWork Robotics Academy in partnership with Ubuntu Renaissance Global (Urglobal) which is focussed on bridging the gap between rural communities and the global community.
Team AlgoAtWork ran 24 hours of Coding and Electronics classes over the 4-day period with about 125 learners participating in the Coding Fundamentals programme.
Massive thanks to the team at URGlobal led by Luleka Mkuzo for reaching out to us at Algo and inviting our organization to be a part of such a great learning and eye-opening experience.
Luleka is a community engagement strategist focused on facilitating development for rural communities.
